Good Book

I ordered this book for my niece's 7th birthday. She is just learning how to fix her waist long hair, and her 8 year old sister is trying to help her(more often than not it leads to big knots and hours of pain trying to fix it). I thought this book would give them both some help and some much loved sister time. After getting the book I found it to be just what I hoped it would. Simple styles and simple instructions for the young reader, and to my surprise a few trick even I didn't know that make styles last and look good. It also has tips on taking care of your hair from the inside out.
However if you think this book will show kids how to use hot tools like blow dryers or curling irons don't waist your time. As I said this is a book for young readers (with only one small note on blow dryers, and how they can damage your hair if your not careful).
I only gave this 3 stars because it to way to long to reach me! I ordered a used book from one of the suggested sellers (why spend $[...] on a book that wont make it out alive!) I ordered it 2 months before her birthday to see if it would be of any use to her. It took 6 weeks to get to me and I had just enough time to try it out before wrapping it up!! The book is great, but I will not be buying from the seller again.

Got this for my daughter who's 9 and never keeps clips in or cares how her hair looks. She loves it!
Being able to see the finished style and the step by step instructions, has her wanting to do her hair. she actually styles her hair herself!!

My daughter loves me to do her hair in different styles. I have a hard time coming up with new and unique ways to do her hair. After I bought this book it has been a fun experience choosing what her different style is going to be. She even uses it to do her dolls hair.

This book is a good book for young girls. My daughters really liked it, they loved the styles and how easy they were. As in previous reviews, it IS a fairly small book, but I still gave it 5 stars because my kids enjoyed it so much. I would recommend it.
